are you curious what it means to be a breathwork facilitator in our current context?

Inspire Breathwork Facilitator Training is a comprehensive 2-year program that fully equips you to become an accredited breathwork therapist. With this breathwork facilitator training, you will be able to work professionally anywhere in the world.

This training goes beyond traditional approaches by integrating embodied social justice principles and embracing a decolonial framework. The first of its kind. With a keen focus on addressing the wounds of our modern context, this training empowers participants to facilitate healing and transformation in a way that is sensitive to systemic oppressions and fosters inclusive, equitable spaces.

We are here to tread the line between ancient wisdom and the modern world. This is a decolonised course curriculum that honours the path of breathwork through a decolonial human lens.

Course Objectives:

  1. To cultivate a hybrid virtual and in-person space for people to learn from, to bring into action and feel confident to bring breathwork therapy to their community.

  2. To hold an accessible space for people to dive into their own personal journey of healing, deepening their practice, listening somatically, exploring both personal indigeneity and collective modernism and create space for their expansion as displaced beings.

  3. To initiate a sustainable practice of community care that is decolonial, survivor-centred, trauma-led, consent based, informed, agency-informed and embodied.

  4. Be an informed foundation for all interested in a decolonial healing,  breathwork and the cultivation of a loving future and be part of a movement that brings breathwork out of the wellness industry and into accessible health care.

This training is a 2-year hybrid online and in-person training.

For the first year, we will meet weekly for 2.5 hour classes and 60-minute Breathwork sessions.

For the second year, we will meet monthly for 1.5hr supervision sessions.

Supremacy Culture and Capitalism depend on our disembodiment. It is a radical act to breathe and remember our bodies.

Train My Community: Renegade Breathwork Training

As part of Inspire Breathwork’s mission to de-centre whiteness and supremacy culture, we are on a mission to train as many people from marginalised communities as possible.

It is hard to welcome marginalised communities into alternative healing when we don’t have practitioners to welcome them and hold them safely with lived experience and knowledge. If you are part of an organisation or community that would like to be trained, then please get in contact.

This initiative will be funded through organisations, grants and donations to allow communities that would never have access to this tool. Ideally, we would like to champion 5-10 members of your community to become professional Breathwork Therapists and provide this service to your people.
